BE the World You Want to See! Honoring our innate value is the most blessed way for each
of us to begin the new year ... for the Truth always sets us free. ~ Chelle ~

| From the Inside Out THE VALUE OF BE-ING
In all of these years, the number of Light
Bearers that I've met who have not had enormous suffering and extreme challenges
can be counted on one hand. Most experienced a very difficult childhood. We chose circumstances that would challenge
us to become stronger and wiser. However, in the choosing, and the experiences,
we apparently developed a subconscious belief that is continuing to impact many
of us. It is my understanding, through my Guidance, that by recognizing and healing
this belief, the opportunity to change our adult lives is available. The challenges and suffering of childhood
have left us with the belief that we are not wanted, not appreciated, and not
supported by this world. We have all done, as far as I am aware, quite a bit of
childhood healing and reprogramming. We've spent hours, days, months, and years
working on healing ourselves into feeling peaceful and whole. And yet we continue to struggle with the
realities of painful relationships, lack, poverty, and other painful situations.
It is my contention, and the contention of my Guidance, that by addressing the
fact that there is a residual belief hidden deep within that tells us that we
are not "where we belong," we can change the reality we are manifesting. Like attracts like. The energy contained
within our energy fields attracts similar energy, which means that we continue
to re-create similar experiences. Though the physical presentation may appear
quite different, beneath the experience lies the energy that was placed there
via an earlier experience. If we have not had wealth, or pure love, or other things
that we desire, how do we then attract these things from an energetic place of
Being? If we have had experiences that tell us we are NOT loved, appreciated,
and supported, how then do we "erase" those energies and replace them
with the opposite? To change this subconscious belief system,
we have to begin to love the life we're living. For those who are still suffering,
this is asking quite a bit. It is asking us to believe before we achieve. It is
asking us to have total faith in the concept that we create our own reality and
that, if we hold our beliefs and desires strongly enough, we will create what
we desire. It is asking us to abandon the "truth"
of our past experiences, which have taught us that we are not valuable. In other
words, it is asking us to acknowledge that we, through our past and our pain,
created an illusion of pain and suffering and lack that is actually a lie. When
we accept this we are then faced with the challenge of forgiving ourselves. The next step is to change the belief that
we are not valuable and wanted. How do we go about changing this? We continue
the process of understanding who we are. We continue merging with Soul's energy.
When we experience enormous suffering, we subconsciously label the experience
as ... not valuable. Because on a subconscious level we identify ourselves with
our experiences, we label ourselves ... not valuable. At this time, Earth-life is made up of checks
and balances, give and take, and a myriad of exchange systems. Old, hashed and
re-hashed issues, to say the least. But at this time there is a "new"
energy being released into the energy of this Earth-reality. It is the energy
of healing beyond the limited system of values that has held Earth-reality hostage
for centuries. We, as Light Bearers, must open our thought
forms and beliefs to receive this energy. It begins with understanding how valuable
we are within this Universe. It continues with our acceptance that we are where
we need to be. And the next step, perhaps the final step,
is living with absolute honor of all others and ourselves. Each of us is making
a major contribution to existence. Despite our past and our pain, or perhaps because
of it (and what we've learned from it), we are valuable and wanted in this moment
... in this reality ... in this piece of existence. ~ Lauren Zimmerman ©2003 ~

A COURAGEOUS MIND
The Weekend Australian magazine ran an article with the
headline "Ignorance Is No Defence" by Philip Adams. Beside it was a
cartoon with a researcher asking "Has the government deceived you?"
Citizen answers: "No, I knew they were lying all along." History will
mark these changing times as significant. Political correctness and a lack of
courage to be different are increasingly parallel to obesity, illness, greed and
the neurotic drive for power. Are we all gradually becoming like this and without realising? My personal
belief is that if we (and I include myself) do not accept the half- and mis-information
fed to us (accepting our own ignorance and self-created
helplessness) - we could change this social disharmony now. The ancient Chinese say that everything in humans starts with
the mind the mind always rules over matter.
Only a clear, honest and courageous mind can bring us and the world (our house)
into order. Everything seems to be out of balance ourselves, our families, states,
races, the environment, the entire planet. In quantifying the chaos by using science,
psychology and commonsense, we can still get our house in order. This means controlling
our emotions and stop blaming, accusing or feeling guilty. It`s never too late.
We have to start with ourselves. Stop using "I would," "I could,"
"I should" and start using "I can" and "I will". We know about the lies in politics, about wars, the power of money
and the lies of science which are so often determined by power and greed. How
can science be factual, positive and objective? Many scientists say we should
have genetically engineered food and yet others say we shouldn`t. Where does common
sense sit? There is no proof that GE Food is safe and it may wipe us out as human
beings. Ignorance or defence? We live in an age where information has
never been so accessible yet we seem to be more ignorant
and lack common sense more than ever before. It is amazing that there are billions
of dollars being invested in conventional combustion motors, atomic energy and
old technology which serve greedy egos yet don`t support our current basic need
of humanity and the future. If billions of dollars had been invested over the past 40 years
towards new ideas and inventions focused on human needs and sustainability, we
might all be using cheap solar energy with unlimited availability and might be
less controlled by large corporations. The same applies to herbal and natural-based
products which could increase the basic health of all people on the planet without
costing incredible amounts of tax payers money spent on failing health systems
and raising massive profits for other people and making us all sicker. Did we ever doubt that the greenhouse effect and ozone layer damage,
the rise of water on coastlines through melting polar ice and other paradigms
might not be true and only create fear and confusion? Have evidence-based medicine
and pharmaceutical drugs brought any lasting solutions to the ever increasing
chronic diseases? Why do we accept a world fed by multinationals with junk food,
creating obesity and ever increasing cost to taxpayers? Instead of finding an
easy solution, we build and extend our fear and ignorance, becoming cynical rather
than courageous. In by-gone eras, one had to believe church and scientists that
the world was flat. Since then, many people have lost their life or were punished
for having the wrong belief, when in fact many were right. I don`t accept ignorance as a defence. I believe in Purity, Integrity
and Care principles which are about solutions
and better health. Whether it is cosmetics, pharmaceutical drugs, food, health,
well-being, genetic engineering, creating and using cheaper and cleaner energy
and saving the planet. PURITY is about clean growing, using the purest raw materials.
INTEGRITY is about being factual, positive, creative and telling the truth. CARE
is about caring for ourselves, not only feeding our egos, but caring for others,
the future of our children and the planet. Helplessness, giving in, ignorance
and greed will not win forever. Purity, Integrity and Care have always been there.

Far Horizons EGYPTIAN
ANTIQUITIES
The first national museum established in
the Middle East was the Egyptian Museum of Cairo. Its 100-year history
began as an effort to halt the plundering of archaeological sites. The Museum
was built in 1897, and opened in 1902 at Midan Tahrir (Liberation Square) in downtown
Cairo. This museum has long suffered from poor preservation conditions and too
little exhibition space; in fact, many of its treasures are stored in the basement.
However, construction plans are still progressing for the Great Egyptian Museum
at Giza, where a 19th century design and concept will be maintained. The Cairo
Museum is not retiring, but will exhibit about 5,000 masterpieces.

Laughing It Off CLOTHESLINES
A clothesline was a news forecast To neighbors passing
by. There were no secrets you could keep When clothes were hung to dry. It also was a friendly link For neighbors always
knew If company had stopped on by To spend a night or two. For then you'd see the fancy sheets And towels on
the line; You'd see the company table clothes With intricate design. The line announced a baby's birth To folks who lived
inside As brand new infant clothes were hung So carefully with pride. The ages of the children could So readily be known
By watching how the sizes changed You'd know how much they'd grown. It also told when illness struck, As extra sheets
were hung; Then nightclothes, and a bathrobe, too, Haphazardly were strung. It said, "Gone on vacation now" When lines
hung limp and bare. It told, "We're back!" when full lines sagged
With not an inch to spare. But clotheslines now are of the past For dryers make
work less. Now what goes on inside a home Is anybody's guess. I really miss that way of life. It was a friendly
sign When neighbors knew each other best By what hung on the line!

E-Mail Lock-Ups.... An e-mail may come in that causes
your computer to lock up when you click it. Lockups are often due to something
in the e-mail itself a bad script, corrupt sound, errant piece of coding
or any number of other problems. When you click the e-mail, it automatically opens
in the preview pane and locks things up before you can get to the Delete key.
The solution is to temporarily close the preview pane, then select and delete

Photo: Amy Sancetta /AP An acrobatic squirrel enjoys...
the contents of a feeder while hanging upside-down in Bainbridge, Ohio. The
tree squirrel is one of very few wild animals that have adapted to humans
and learned to coexist with man. It can live on both natural foods and hand outs.
The squirrel is an acrobatic wonder to young and old. Its large tail makes it
the most recognized mammal on Earth. It amazes us with daring high wire acts,
as it races through the tree branches. Its determination to find a way to get
seeds from a so called "squirrel proof" bird feeder is a delight to
watch. ~Squirrels.org

Joyful Lifestyles: Weekly Insights JOURNEY TOWARDS BEAUTY (Part 1) My dear friend from high school and Inspiration
Line subscriber, Jim in Galena, Illinois, recently shared with me some issues
of "Friends of Silence." This little publication comes out of Jericho,
Vermont and is filled with uplifting quotes and verses on various themes. The
issue on 'BEAUTY' particularly 'spoke' to me ... "Pauses in silence and stillness with a gentle
openness are invitation to heart and soul to recognize BEAUTY especially
in unexpected places: "Spirit cuts like water through it all,
carving out this emptiness so inner eye can see the soaring height of canyon walls
within. Walls whose very color, texture, form redeem in beauty all my life has
been. The darkness and the light, the false, the true. While deep below the living
waters run, cutting deeper through my parts to resurrect my gravebound heart,
making, always making, all things new." (Grand Canyon by Parker
J. Palmer) "The journey toward our beauty is a
magnificent struggle. Achieving an integrity between what we believe and how we
live is a challenge worthy of the gift of life. A thousand obstacles stand between
our selves and the honoring of our truth. A thousand distractions . A thousand
ego-generated delusions. The quality of our life depends on how we confront those
obstacles. That is what Joseph Campbell described as the hero's journey
the journey towards our greater self. That journey takes so much courage. That
journey fascinates me. To dive down, find the beauty, nurture it and offer it
to the world is magnificent. The more unique what you have to offer is, the more
indifferent the world is likely to be for a long, long time. Staying with your
beauty, your truth, your integrity is difficult, but out of these things comes
meaning, and meaning is all-transcendent." (Heron Dance by Rod McIver from Journal
Notes, 1998) "Be not afraid to seek the Treasure
within, to discover the beauty hidden in the heart's garden. For as you root out
the weeds of fear peace love, truth and joy begin to flower; light radiates
out from your inner garden to all the world." (Meditations and Mandalas: Simple Songs
for the Spiritual Life by Nan C. Merrill) ~ Chelle Thompson, Editor ~ |
