NEW 2007: US Daylight
Saving Time Starts March 11 — and Ends November 4
(DST
is NOT observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto
Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Arizona)
Computers and other
gadgets programmed to change automatically could run into
some hiccups
this year. Why, you ask? Daylight saving time starts three
weeks earlier and ends a week later.
Programs that adjust automatically for daylight saving
time may need patches.
Vista won’t require a patch, although XP will. Go
to Microsoft
Support for details.
With regard to other programs and gadgets, check the specific
manufacturer’s website.
