It's simply wonderful to think of,
The careful tending of a rose,
Which is like the way our love works,
How every day it grows.

It's something very special,
For my eyes to behold,
To watch the fragile petals
As they gracefully unfold.

Like a beautiful flower
Reaching up to kiss the sun,
I feel so very close to you,
Because I know that you're The One.

Even when the rain does fall,
It's a comfort still to know
That eventually the skies will clear
And it will only help us grow!
