THE SALMON OF DOUBT: Hitchhiking the Galaxy One Last Time This book is a compilation of what was found on the computers of Douglas Adams at the time of his passing. It's a collection of short works — an article about climbing Kilimanjaro in a rhino costume, his amusement over a particular sign in New Mexico, admonishments about tea, several interviews, and an essay called "Cookies" which demonstrates his humanity as strongly as anything he's ever written. They seemed rather unrelated until the end of the book, which features the existing chapters of what was going to be Adams's next novel in "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy" series.
